  •  What is LOVE?

God calls us to love and to show our love to our "neighbors" (other people) as well as to Him. But what is true love?

The THIRST committee of 2011 invites YOU to join us in seeking God in worship on Saturday February 26th at Living Waters Christian Academy. We want you to experience God's love this month and spark a passion for Him in your heart. He loves us so much and it is time that we understood it, truly.

Tickets are $5 a person and can be bought in advance or at the door. The ticket price barely pays for the event to operate so do not feel that you are being sold entertainment, this is a time to seek the Lord.

    Concession will be served.

We hope you can make it!!!!!!!

Sometimes it's a good thing to put your dreams in a box....

So today was the big day! Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!! The boxes of my CD's have arrived, which means they are that much closer to being in YOUR hands. It's actually kinda funny how all these years of dreaming big and living hard can fit inside a box- and in that box a jewel case- and in that jewel case a round piece of plastic!

The feeling is surreal really...my heart just feels fully thankful. Like so SO full. I'm an emotional wreck here! In a good way! I'll probably end up writing a song from this too! lol.

I wasn't in my underwear, but I was just as mortified!...

I had this dream last night that I showed up to a large event. Part way through the event, they asked me to sing. So it was a spur of the moment type thing. There were five keyboards in the dream, and multiple sound technicians. Every keyboard I kept trying to use was missing a feature that I refused to play without. There was no pedal on one. There was no transpose button on another. There was no piano button on another. One didn't have weighted keys. One was off key. No sound technicians could see to …

Six inch boots in a nine inch puddle- dreams too big for my britches?

I know I know. You're wondering where in the world I have been lately right? Well...truth is I've been riding a rollercoaster.  After my pre-ordering contest was over, and many other provisions aligned to full fund this album, I was in a strange place. See...for over a decade now, my heart has been dreaming up an album. But, I have always hidden behind the excuse that I didn't have enough money to do it. That was my big "I CAN'T"...as so many people have in the way of them and their …

Debbi downer days...

Ask most any artist that is really stepping out there, and they will likely tell you that this isn't an easy calling. I have found this to be the case. But along the way I've been learning perspective. Why would I want it to be easy when the challenges give me clarity- they push me to grow- they give me something to say?  Since the devastation in Haiti it's impossible for me to look at my life...all of it...and find any reason to complain. Yes...I'm human, and find myself staring at disappointments just as much as anyone else, but when the bigger picture unfolds, I gain strength and hope when I see...God can work ANYTHING out for good!

Show me the love...awwww.

A CD pre-order for your thoughts...

So I'm officially in the pre-production phase. For those of you who don't know what that is... it's deciding the songs to record, re-arranging them if needed, and laying down a scratch track for them. A scratch track is for the studio musicians so they can can get the structure of the song and lay down the official tracks of them. Clear as mud? lol. Anyways...I have a enough pre-orders to get started the first three songs! I'm super excited about this! You can expect a sneak preview of the CD in …

starrrrrrbucccccksss please.

ok. So i'm pretty sure that the only way I will be getting through this day is with my friend Starbucks. It's been a long few days of scratching down tracks in my basement, and doing last minute arrangements on songs before presenting them in the studio- where they will no doubt undergo even more of a makeover. It's a pure pleasure, but alot of work.

Pre-orders are coming along. Enough to get me a good start in the studio, but not enough to finish yet. It has been so cool to feel the joint effort by you guys to make this happen. I'm seeing just how much we can accomplish and have an impact in life when we share each other's loads. (Haiti benefit concert was such a testimony of this). Almost like a bed of nails...or...ya...something like that.

Anyways, just thought you might like an update of where things are at. They are indeed moving along....
now...where is that Starbucks...

29 and still dreaming...

sooooo....today as you can see, it's my birthday. It's actually my GOLDEN birthday or royal birthday or whatever it's called...you know turning 29 on the 29th! Glad you could all join my special day today online. When i blow out the candles to my cyber bday cake, my wish will be to have this album recorded long before my 30th bday, and that there will be 50 PRE0RDERS today! Yes...yes..i know...shameless plug but... 1. I need this to help me progress on the album. 2. It's a gift for you too! Don't …

Cry baby

Looks like I'm alot more emotional about this project than I thought. Every pre-order that has been coming in has been making me cry. In a good way of course. Let's just hope this doesn't make me as emotional as my husband. lol. Thanks for the support guys!
